BACK STORY:

Sarah Jane Swinson was born on August 27, 1992 (our time)in Sarthasia, Ursidia to unknown parents that apparently abandoned her in a rundown orphanage. For 6-7 years,Sarah lived as a pitiful urchin begging for visiting spacers to feed her and possibly raise her as their own child. One day she got her wish when a lone spacer noticed her attempting to fight off a pack of Rattus bullies. After the spacer intervened on her behalf, he discovered that she really needed more than just a few coins to buy some food. He introduced himself as Captain Silver and asked her what she would think of if he told her he could show her a better world. Sarah was in awe that he even offered to care for her aboard his ship and gladly accepted his offer.

Ever since then, Silver became the father figure and mentor she never had. She was at first afraid of the various motley crew members but grew to like them as a sort of family...well, all except for one. Sarah did finally become accustomed to spacing as a way of life and began to enjoy it...except of course for the intense piracy like harming others. Eventually, she grew old enough to learn how to use the weapon of her choice and is very accurate in her aim. She too, became a bit obsessed with the treasure that Silver had vowed he would find. Therefore, she was very angry and hurt when she discovered that Silver had gone a voyage to Treasure Planet while she was stuck in an internship for learning how to run a ship. But upon discovering that the planet self-destructed anyway, it lessened her resentment.

Now, she has graduated from doing the duties of a bos'n and is learning how to be a quartermaster. She currently resides on Montressor Spaceport where she is acting as a helper for the renowned Captain Amelia.
