Steering The Ship

I just needed to take a break from something else that I'm working on, which isn't turning out very well. Instead of just pushing it out and uploading it in it's current crappy state, I decided to practice my shading and coloring techniques.

First off, I did not draw this. The original sketch belongs to here . 

The coloring and background is mine though I'm surprised this took me longer than I thought it would But hey, it was certainly very fun to do.
